Mere Jeevan Saathi 2015 movie is a romantic drama film that revolves around Prakash (Rajesh Khanna), a famous painter who is in love with Radha (Tanuja), a doctor. They meet at a party and get attracted to each other. Prakash proposes to Radha and she accepts. However, on the day of their engagement, Prakash gets into an accident and loses his eyesight. He is taken to a hospital where he meets Dr. Ramesh (Sujit Kumar), who is Radha's fiancé. Ramesh tells Prakash that Radha has left him and gone abroad. He also offers to help Prakash regain his vision through a surgery.
Prakash agrees to the surgery and undergoes a successful operation. He regains his sight and resumes his painting career. He also becomes friends with Ramesh, who is unaware of his past relationship with Radha. One day, Prakash sees Radha's picture in a magazine and realizes that she is still in India. He decides to find her and confront her. He learns that she is working as a nurse in a hospital and goes there to meet her. He is shocked to see that she is engaged to Ramesh, who has lied to him about her whereabouts.
Prakash confronts Radha and accuses her of betraying him. Radha tells him that she never left him, but was forced by her father to marry Ramesh, who had saved his life.
